Dr. Veronica on this object
Provenance+
The art is based on Ori, a Nigerian form of body painting and a practice of connecting with the soul. In its traditional form, white paint travels across the whole body until the person very nearly disappears behind the art. What you see here is Ori as the founder imagined it.
The name comes from the Phoenix rising — a creature of the imagination, and a true description of what happens to people who decide to slow down and connect with themselves. The hair burns. The face remains calm.
A Note from the Founder+
On the mats and on the blankets, this is about creative, artistic, beautiful connection with yourself — movement meant to lift you physically, mentally, and spiritually. Remember that you can rise from ashes like the phoenix, and look at the world with love.
Queen of Phoenix is beautiful, playful, and spiritual. How often do you get to hear all three of those words together? — Dr. Veronica
Symbolism+
Within the design sits an eye, conceived originally for the Dr. Veronica brand. Its pupil is a heart: you must love other people, and you must love yourself.
The eye is not incidental. The founder trained as an eye surgeon and remains one; she also works as a clairvoyant. Having tended the physical eyes, she now helps people with the spiritual ones. The eye in this design is about seeing into yourself.
In her human design, she carries the channel of the queen — walking the earth, subconsciously, as royalty. The design invites the same: rise from the ashes, and treat yourself like a queen.
About this Object+
Queen of Phoenix Abstract Tribal Face Art Blanket | Velveteen Microfiber Blanket
Wrap yourself in a modern visual story with this double-sided velveteen microfiber blanket. One side features a sculptural, abstract portrait rendered in warm creams and oranges; the other flows with soft, sweeping lines that echo movement and calm. Set against a muted gray backdrop, the artwork feels like something pulled from a minimalist gallery — refined, warm, and quietly expressive.
This blanket isn’t just décor; it’s a companion for slow, intentional moments. Drape it across a sofa to add understated sophistication, fold it at the foot of the bed for an artful accent, or wrap it around your shoulders during reading, journaling, or late-night creative work. The plush, dense pile offers a soothing touch, while the 2" stitched hem keeps everything neat and long-lasting through daily use.
Designed for lovers of modern art, neutral palettes, and cozy elevated interiors, this blanket brings softness, personality, and texture to any space.
